Social Bookmarking To Get Traffic And Make Money Online

Yesterday I book marked my niche site at some social bookmarking sites. Using social bookmarking sites is a fast way to get traffic to your site and as you know with traffic comes the chance to make money. Now traffic from social bookmarking sites aren’t as targeted as the traffic you get from the search engines. Most of these people will have clicked though to your site out of curiosity, but if they’re curious enough to click to your site they may be curious enough to click some ads.

To make money online it’s a numbers game. The more traffic you get the more money you can make. That’s not to say any traffic will make you money. You want your traffic to be as targeted as possible. You want people that have a genuine interest in what you’re providing. Social bookmarking can provide that because people will only click to see something they have an interest in some way or another. Even if that interest is curiosity.

To bookmark my sites I use Social Poster and Socialmarker. Both of these site have a list of high ranking bookmarking sites that you can bookmark your sites at. You fill in the information for your site like URL, keywords, title and description and as you go through and post your site that information for the most part are automatically filled in for you at the sites saving you lots time.

So if you want some quick traffic and a chance to make money online right away social bookmarking is a good way to go.

Using Article Marketing To Make Money Online

Yesterday I uploaded my articles to some more article sites. As I mentioned yesterday article marketing is an important aspect when you’re trying to make money online. It gives you back links and it gives you targeted traffic to your website or blog, whatever you happen to be promoting.

When people visit an article site they are looking for specific things to read about or information on a specific thing. So say they find your article on that specific niche they are researching. Since article sites allow you to have links at least in the author’s box the reader finds the link to your site. Since this is a subject they have an interest in and more than likely would like to have more information on they will click through to your site where they may buy a product your selling or click some ads on your site. Either way you make some money.

The other important aspect of article marketing to make money online is the back links. I’m not just talking about the links from having your article with your link in it on the article site itself. Article sites allow other people to use your articles on their website or blog and the main criteria for being able to use your article is that it must not be changed and that the author box with your link in it be used. So here you have a potential of hundreds of back links. That is why it is important to have good quality content in your articles. You want to have something that people want to use on their sites.

So you see how important article marketing is in your quest to make money online especially when you’re doing niche marking. Continuing My Make Money Online Adventure

Well, yesterday I finally did it. I started submitting my articles to article sites. Today I plan to continue that process. The importance of submitting articles is to get the all important back links and also targeted visitors to your niche site. These are people looking for what you have to offer and that can help you make money online.

Make Money Online With The 30 Day Challenge

Well, this weekend was pretty busy for me what with playing in my band and cookouts. There also was a “Day Break” marathon on yesterday which I just had to watch. Needless to say I did not get my articles put up yet, but unless something drastic happens I will definitely get them up today.

Right now I want to take this time to tell you about an Internet event that’s coming up that will help you make money online The event is called The 30 Day Challenge. If you haven’t heard of it The 30 Day Challenge is where I learned a lot about how to do this niche marketing thing.

The challenge is to get you to make your first $10 online in 30 days by showing you how to choose, work and market a niche. Whether you’re new at this or an old hat at it I think you get some valuable information from doing The 30 Day Challenge.

Although this years 30 Day Challenge will be starting soon, you can still do last year’s. The pre-season for this year’s 30 Day Challenge will start June 1st with the regular challenge starting August 1st. Ed Dale and the guys promise there will be lots of new stuff to do and learn and as always it’s FREE to join and participate in.

I Didn’t Get My Articles Up

Because of other obligations I didn’t get a chance to put my articles up yesterday and this weekend is going to be real busy with other stuff so I won’t have a chance to put them up then either. So it looks like I won’t really have a chance to put the articles up until Monday.

I did make some sells on eBay which is great and I also got payments from Hits4Pay and Money4Banners which is also great, so my make money online adventure does continue. Check out my sidebar for other programs that I have been paid from.

What To Look For When Choosing A Niche

I have written three articles using key phrases related to the niche I’m working and today I will be submitting them to article sites. There will be more on this tomorrow. Today I want to talk a little about choosing a niche in your quest to make money online.

When choosing a niche the first two things you want to look for is how much competition there is for and how much search is done for it. You want to have low competition and high search for your niche. You have to research the keywords and phrases you want to work. As I said in another post I use Wordtracker, a free research tool to research my keywords and phrases.

When you put in your keyword into Wordtracker it gives you other keywords and phrase that also fit that keyword. It goes even farther to give how much competition there is for the keywords and ho many searches are done for them. It is suggested that you don’t use a keyword or phrase that has more than 30,000 competition and less than 100 visits. Your goal is to be listed high on the search engines, preferably at the top of the first page, but at least somewhere on the first three pages and the least competition you have the better your chances of ranking high in the search engines.

You may also want to make sure there are affiliate products or services you can promote on your niche site or blog unless you have your own. Another thing you might what to do is test the keyword or phrase that you choose to work in order to see if the visitors you get are willing to spend money. I am just researching my keywords and phrases and jumping right in without the testing. I figure at the very least I can make some money with Google Adsense ads.

Moving On With My Make Money Online Adventure

I have now finished the website for the niche I’m working and now it’s time to get traffic to it and start building back links. My plan for today is to start writing some articles that are related to my niche and put them on some article sites. This will do two things. First it will give some quality back links and second it should help to drive traffic to my site.

Article sites are places where people can not only come to read articles about subjects they are interested in, but they are also places where people come that are looking for content for their blog or website. People can copy and paste your article on their sites. Article sites allow you to have at least one link in the bio box and when someone uses your article they are required to leave your bio box as is.

So when somebody uses your article on their website or blog they are giving you another back link to your site. Since you are in control of the back link they get, you want to make sure that link is the keyword or phrase you are targeting. For instance I am targeting make money online for my SureCashNow.com site. So in the bio box for an article I would write to get traffic to this site I would use make money online not SureCashNow.com .

By doing this you get more relevant back links to your website which helps you to get higher on the search engines. So today I will be working on as many articles as I can and if I have time I will submit them to some article sites.

The Goal Of My Make Money Online Adventure

I’m still working on finishing my new niche site so today I just want to take some time to tell you what the goal of “My Make Money Online Adventure” is. The goal of this blog is to show you a way you can make money online without spending any money except maybe for a web host and domain registration. I use Host Excellence. I find them very reliable with great customer service and very affordable.

However you don’t have to use a paid web host, although I think it’s the best way to go, you can use a free web host like Tripod and not spend any money at all. As you follow along with me I hope you learn from the things I do that go right and from my mistakes. I will reveal it all.

You can make money online with niche marketing, some good money, but you do have to put some work into it. However, after the work is done you can sit back and reap the rewards and start working your next niche. The more niches you set up the more money you will make. Set a goal for how much money you want to make and go for it.

So Far In My Make Money Online Adventure

As I said in my last post I told you that I already make money online through PTCs, PTRs, surveys and eBay. I don’t make a lot of money from these sources and some are more time consuming then they’re worth.

I believe some real money can be made with niche marketing and in some cases it can be a passive income. So that’s what I am pursuing and that is mostly what this blog will follow, my quest to make money online through niche marketing.

So what have I done far in this effort? I have researched several keyword phrases and have picked a few that I want to start working with. I use Wordtracker to research my keywords. Wordtracker gives you the amount of competition for a keyword and how much that keyword is used to do a search, which is very valuable information.

Okay, so I have pick my first keyword phrase and started building a site around it. I won’t be giving the niches I’m working with because I don’t want to get a false traffic boost from people going to the site just to check it out and I don’t want that niche flooded with competition. Back to the site, I have monetized it by putting Google Adsense ads in the places I want them and I have some affiliate stuff in place also. I did all of this on the template content pages and I am now working on those pages.

I am actually getting my content from other sources on the Internet. I plan to have the site done today and then I can move to the next phase, which is getting traffic and back links to it. I will share with you that process as I go through it.

Introduction To My Make Money Online Adventure

I want to take this time to welcome you to My Make Money Online Adventure blog. I have been through quite a few things trying to make money online, some good some not so good. When I first started out to make money online I tried a little site called eBay, maybe you’ve heard of it. I still use eBay to make money and with their affiliate program there is even more potential for making money with them. That is one of things I will be using and talking about on this blog.

I went on to try HYIPs (High Yield Investment Programs) which was bad. I made and lost money using them, but I think I lost more money then I made. All of these are scams and ponzie schemes. You can make money from them, but you have to know to get in and when to get out. I have done and still do PTCs (Paid To Click) and PTRs (Paid To Read). These don’t pay a whole lot for your activity. Anywhere from one to five cents for each ad you click or email you read. Where you make the most money here is getting active referrals and getting paid from their activities. You must also stay vigilant yourself, checking your email and the sites for activities you can do.

I have even tried Paid To Blog sites like PayPerPost, Blogvertise and SponsoredReviews. I made some very good money from these until the big Google slap down where they knocked everybody’s page rank for doing paid reviews. I still make a little money from Paid To Blog sites, but not near as much as I was.

I have learned a lot since I first dove into the make money online area and I am going to use what I learned to start another phase of my make money online quest. I will be diving into niche marketing as well as some other things and I will give you a blow-by-blow account of my efforts. My hope is to help you learn from my mistakes and from what I do that works. May this will help you with your own Make Money Online Adventure.
