I am still tweeting my older sites and starting to do the promotions now. As I have said when I’m done with that I will be working on mini niche sites targeting high paying keywords and phrases.
Well, I just found this site that’s giving away a free video course on mini sites called Mini-Site Profits Exposed. These videos will teach you how to create your own moneymaking mini site easily, even if you're a non-technical person. You will be guided step-by-step through the entire process from start to finish, and after you're done you'll have a mini site that can make you money 24 hours a day.
A lot of people think that you have to create a big website with lots of content in order to make money online. That's not true. All the marketing gurus use the mini site model, because it's fast, easy and cheap. You can create a mini-site in less than 24 hours once you know how to do it.
I think mini-sites is the way to go to make money online fast, which is why I decided to go that way. If you’re thinking about getting into the mini-sites thing check out the free video course at Mini-Site Profits Exposed.

Today I want to continue with showing you the programs that are in my sidebar that I use to make money online and that I have been paid from. Today I want to talk about Hits4Pay. Hits4Pay is a paid to click site where you get paid to click ads that you view for 30 seconds.
A couple of good things about Hits4Pay are first of all they pay you $10 in your account just for signing up. Second, unlike most paid to click sites that pay one cent or less per click, Hits4pay pay you two cents for each ad you click and one cent for the ads your referrals click.
The one thing I don’t like about Hits4pay is that you have to have $25 in your account before you get paid, but I have been paid twice by them so they do pay. The key to getting the most ads to click is the categories you pick. I would say experiment and change categories every month or so to see what gets you the most ads. Also try to get as many referrals as you can.
That’s it for me until Monday. Remember preseason for The 30 Day Challenge is going on. If you’re not a member join up it’s free and you will learn a lot about how to make money online.

As I mentioned before I am now working on boosting the SEO and marketing for my other sites, which is pretty much the same steps I showed you here with the new niche I was working, which by the way continues to make Google Adsense money. So while I’m working on that I will discuss some of the other programs that I use to make money online until I start working on the mini niche sites.
The programs that I will be discussing are opportunities that I have been paid from and you can find these opportunities in my sidebar. The first program I want to talk about is Money4Banners .
This is passive income. All you have to do is put three banners on three of your website’s pages and you’re supposed to get $5 for every month the banners stays on those pages. However I have been receiving $10 dollars a month. I don’t know way and I’m not complaining. It doesn’t matter if your website is large or small or has high or low traffic Money4Banners will pay you every month to show their banners.
On top of getting $5 or $10 every month for the banners, Money4Banners will also pay you a $10 signup bonus and you get that as soon as you put the banners on your site. Like I said I have been paid every month since I joined. Sometimes a little late, but I’ve still been paid.
Money4Banners is a good way to make money online and it’s passive money because you put the banners on your site and get paid month after month.

I know most bloggers in the make money online niche are familiar with John Chow. For those that are familiar with John Chow, he is one of those A-list bloggers that make a lot of money blogging. But the question is can John Chow help you make money online? My personal opinion is no.
I don’t think John Chow even cares about helping others make money online. Just read what it says in the title bar on his blog, “I Make Money Online By Telling People How Much Money I Make Online”. John Chow in my opinion is a self-promoting, self-aggrandizing, greedy guy.
When I first got into blogging I heard all this good stuff about John Chow and how much money he makes online blogging and so on. I heard if you follow what Chow says you can make lots of money online. I read his posts, which were mostly about affiliate programs he was promoting. I even got his free e-book that he claims will show you how he made his money by blogging. All of it was worthless. It’s just gobblely goop. All tailored to make him more money not you.
I don’t understand why so many people seem to cling to every word John Chow writes or how they can be so blind to what the guy is really about when he tells you right up front that he’s about him making money online not you. But that’s just one man’s opinion.

The post is about how Garry Conn plans to win a competition he has going with John Cow by using article marketing. Readers are invited to down load the article and put it their blogs if they so wish. Since the article talks about some of the same stuff I’m trying here, I decide to go ahead and put the post here. So without farther ado, here is that post.
What Is Article Article Marketing
Greetings People Of Conn!
Mark Mason here from MasonWorld.com with a guest post (thanks Garry).
When Garry Conn announced the competition against John Cow, I was excited to hear that Garry was building a site that would eventually go up for sale on sitepoint. You see, there are two things that create value for a site: traffic and conversions. When Garry picked Credit Card Debt as a niche, I knew he picked a winner.
(Note for the record that I tried to get Garry to put up a hamburger recipe site).
A Winning Strategy
Conversion is all about how to change traffic into dollars. For the credit card debt site that Garry built, there were three main ways to accomplish that: adsense revenue, affiliate lead programs, and the site mailing list. Garry's site design is highly optimized for these three earning modes. I know Garry has covered these in previous posts, but I mention them here because my observation is that having three independent revenue streams is a great idea. Never put all of your hamburger patties on one grille, so to speak. A fourth revenue stream, information product creation, would be great if the contest were longer.
For conversion to matter, you need traffic. And here, Garry is also on the right track. His choice of an SEO optimized theme (which he designed) coupled with fantastic content centered around keyword-optimized tags means that Garry's contest blog has a great foundation for organic traffic for years to come. Garry is an Adsense guru and knows this part of the business well. He also knows well that building traffic takes time and backlinks. That where I come in.
Let's Talk About Article Marketing
Before I get started I want to clear one thing up -- Article Marketing is often confused with "bum marketing," but they are not really the same thing. It all seems obvious to me now, but I remember having a hard time getting a clear description of article marketing. So, I'd like to offer you what I consider the key ideas behind article marketing, and talk about how you can use it to kill a cow. If you want to know more about article marketing, I am going to point you to my five favorite resources at the end (which are great, but not required to become an article marketing guru or a cow slayer).
So, what is Article Marketing?
Article marketing refers to a traffic generation method that depends on submitting informative "articles" to sites called "article directories." These articles generally consist of an article body that has generally useful information, and an article resource box that contains links back to the author's site. This technique is sometimes mistakenly called "Bum Marketing." Actually, as pointed out by Josh Spaulding, Article Marketing is one of the tools that Bum Marketers use (so named since it is so easy even a bum could do it.) (Getting the bum a laptop and a high speed internet connection is a social problem that is beyond the scope of this post.)
Good article directories have great traffic and strong Google page rank, so publishing your information there increases the chance that people will see and read what you have to say. Additionally, article directories allow people to copy and republish their articles, provided the article is unchanged and the resource box is preserved. This means that your article with your links could end up on multiple sites with lots of exposure. That means lots of backlinks and click-throughs to you. If you can convert that traffic, you can make money.
There are literally hundreds of article directories, the most famous of which is eZineArticles. (As an example, you can see one of my articles about Credit Card Debt.) The fact that there are hundreds of article directories opens up the possibility of submitting your article to many directories and multiplying your exposure. (There can be downsides to this, however, as we will discuss below).
Two Sources of Traffic
The beauty of article marketing is the possibility of two complementary sources of traffic. This is a key point that is often not understood. When you initially submit your articles, if they are well written, you should expect that they will be spread and read. If you write an effective resource box, those same readers will want more information and click the links in the box.
This simple idea generates immediate traffic to your site. In the case of the Connpetition, Garry is already seeing some of these click-through (even though out article marketing efforts have been modest due to resources).Eventually, as the article ages, it may fall lower in the article directory as it gets buried by newer articles on the same topic. This usually means that click-through traffic from articles will fall off as a function of time. Sometimes articles go viral and the clicks keep coming, but this is not usually the case.
Not to worry. Now your article has spread around the net with links to your site at the bottom. Google sees these (correctly) as backlinks to your site. Done properly, these backlinks can help you rank for the pages that the links are pointing to. So, while your direct click-through traffic is falling off, your organic search engine traffic will increase. Pretty cool, eh?
A word about content and keywords
There are lots of things to think about when you are writing articles for article marketing. Most importantly, you need to have a keyword strategy for the content on your site and the content in your article. It may not make sense to directly compete with your own website, for example. Rather, you may want to choose keywords for your articles that complement the content on your site. Garry is a keyword guru, but I will give you a simple example of what I mean here.
For example, if you have a site on "butchering cows," you may want to write an article for article marketing on "castrating cows" knowing that people interested in castrating cows will also be interested in butchering cows. You need to think about this carefully.
Earlier, I mentioned that you could submit the same article to multiple directories. You can, and I do. But you need a strategy for that as well to balance the effectiveness of the submission against the impact of duplicate content. Google expects syndicated content to be duplicated, but there are still tradeoffs that need to be considered (beyond the scope of this brief article).
Article Marketing Resources
As promised, here are five resources that I actually use for article marketing. I have purchased these tools myself. Don't misunderstand me: you can be successful in article marketing without any tools. These are the tools that I personally use to improve the quality and productivity of my article marketing efforts.
Article Marketing Domination. This is an excellent eBook by article marketing guru Josh Spaulding. This eBook covers all of the details that i have glossed over above, and is a complete reference. You can do article marketing without knowing all the details, but you will get lot better results if you have all the facts. Most things in life are like this.
Article Post Robot. A tool for submitting articles to multiple sites. It is really tedious and boring to submit the same article to 50 article directories. Article Post Robot automated this process. This is not the most elegant tool on the planet, but it works very well for me on over 50 article directories (the software supports many more).
Instant Article Wizard Pro. IAW Pro is an amazing tool for article research. I just learned about this tool this week, and have used it a few times with incredible results. Basically it searches the web for research on your keywords and mashes the pieces together in reasonable sounding paragraphs. Cuts article writing time down by a factor of ten or more in my experience. Even if you have no intention of buying this thing, you have got to see the video.
Micro Niche Finder. One of the most important parts of Article Marketing (not really covered well in this article) is keyword selection. Garry and I both use Micro Niche Finder for all my keyword research.
Josh Spaulding. OK -- he is not a resource, actually. He is a person - a really nice one. Josh is my "go to guy" and mentor for Article Marketing (Garry is my Blogging, Adsense, and WP Theme Guru), and Josh is also the author of Article Marketing Domination.
The Bottom Line on Article Marketing
Article marketing is a great way to promote your website, affiliate products or affiliate program. You can use article marketing to take over almost any keyword in Google (given enough time and effort). Given a longer contest, we could use this to outrank Cow on his own site just for fun if we wanted to. It is powerful vood o stuff. By writing an article that delivers value and offers a subtle mention of your affiliate product or critical keywords, you're well on your way to getting the proper exposure for your promotion (whatever it is). Simply put, Article Marketing is a great way to promote your business online.
Death to the Cow!

Mark Mason

This weekend as I said I would do I tweeked some of my older sites to make them more SEO friendly. My hope is that this will them better make money online for me. Of course I will have go through marketing techniques I went through with the new niche I was working in order for that to happen.
Speaking of that new niche lets see how the niche marketing I have done for it has faired so far and if it helped me to make any money online. Okay, here is the breakdown. For the main keyphrase I was targeting, on Google I have an article that is 9th a social bookmark that is 11th and my website itself is13th all on the first page of the search results. Think that is pretty good within a week.
Now lets look at some of the longtailed keyphrases. One longtailed keyphrase has an article that is 4th on the first page of the search results, asocial bookmark that is 11th on the second page and my website is 14th on page 4 for that longtailed keyphrase.
There was only one other longtailed keyphrase that showed up within the first five pages of the search results. It had an article that was 14th on the second page and the website showed at the bottom of page five. Okay, so did I make money online from this niche market so far? Yes, though it is very little, I have made a little Google Adsense money.
In hindsight I don’t think this niche was all that great to make money online from even though given more time I’m sure it will make some okay money. But this does show the power of the niche marketing techniques that I used to get ranked in search engines and to make money online if using that right niche.
I will be working on getting my other sites some love this week, but the next new thing I will be trying is doing mini websites using high paying niche keywords and phrases. That’s what I will be talking about this week.

Yesterday I did some more blog commenting and put my articles on a couple more article directories. The article directories I posted to are ArticleCube and Buzzle.
As I said yesterday I’m going to rest on this niche for a while and see how it works out. One thing I did want to mention before I go over the steps I used in working this niche is that while looking for blogs to comment on I run across a site had links to two of my articles, so I see the back linking for this niche working already.
Okay, let’s go over what I have done so far to make money online from the niche I have been working. First of all I researched my keyword phrase for free over at Wordtracker. After finding a phrase with a good amount of traffic and low competition I built my website using the keyword phrase in the URL. I also used the phrase in the title of the website and as much as I could in the content section of the site. I also target some other long tailed key phrases through out the site. I also monetized the site with Google Adsense and some affiliate stuff.
Next it was time to get some backlinks and traffic to the site so I wrote some articles and posted them on some article directories. I then went a step farther and social bookmarked the articles as well as the site itself. I also used myLot to get traffic to the site. I then made some Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses which should also help to drive traffic to the site. The last thing I did in order to get traffic and backlinks was blog commenting. If you go back through this blog (which isn’t much to go through) you will find posts that explain these steps in more detail.
This weekend I will be tweeking my older sites with the new stuff I have learned to see if I can get more punch out of them. I ran across some other information and techniques that I will be trying and that I will share with you next week. So until then have a great weekend and go out there and make money online.
