Making Money Online With Sponsored Tweets Update

Yesterday I did a post about making money online with SponsoredTweets. In that post I mentioned that I had just joinedSponsoredTweets and that I had already got an offer to do a tweet.

Well here’s the update. The advertiser accepted my tweet and I got paid for it. Now it wasn’t a bunch of money (just $1.00), but it also didn’t take a bunch of time to do. All I did was take the copy the advertiser wrote changed it just a little so it would fit in the tweet and sent it. And if you saw the first post I did on this here, remember I haven’t met all of the qualifications for SponsoredTweets yet.

This just shows me that money can be made at SponsoredTweets and when I meet that last qualification I should get more offers.

This is a very interesting topic.

I wonder how many newbies seriously consider what it is that they want from their internet business before they start.

There is so much information coming from all different angles. So many people all pushing their programs.

Based on over 7 years of online marketing experience, here is what I would look for if I were to start over today.

Learn how to set up your own website.

A good free resource: www.w3schools.com

Build the website around a topic/niche that you are really passionate about.

Monetize your website with "Google Adsense"- go to Google to find out more.

Find a product that fits your website niche from PayDotCom.com marketplace. [their is no minimum payout like you will face at clickbank].

Be very careful to pick a very good product, your reputation is at stake here.[purchase the product yourself if you can afford to do so].

Don't promote the product if it does not deliver it's promises as per the sales page.

Promote the product via your own website and ask the prospective customer to join your mailing list.

Contact the vendor of the product - if you have problems contacting the vendor, so will your customers - again your reputation is at stake

and customer after sales service is very important.

The equation for making money online is:

Product + Customers = $$$$$s

Or to be more accurate:

Good Product + good customers = $$$$$$s

Now that you have a website set up with a good product you need to get a lot of good customers.

The best way to get good customers to view your product, is to generate Free Website Traffic.

Most Free Website Traffic generation methods are a waste of time.

A huge percentage of new Affiliate Marketers burn out and give up because they can't make sales using Free Website Traffic generation methods.

To fully understand the pitfalls when using the wrong methods to try and generate good traffic to your sites you can view my video by going to

the link in my signature file above.

Once you are making good sales with the first product, you can add another product to your site.

if you pick a product that is complementary to the first - and your customers have been serviced well,

you will get a lot of repeat sales from your original customers as well as new ones.

Progressively you keep adding more products more good customers and steadily building a good online business.

As you gain more confidence by making sales, you can now look to produce your own product.

You can either create it yourself or out source the work to create your own product.

All the above is a lot of hard work but well worth the effort.

It does mean you have to learn the skills involved. However if you can read and write, you already have the skills to learn the new skills you will need to be successful.

Don't be tempted to take shortcuts as promised by so many hype stuffed programs.

They will turn out to be the long way in the long run - just distractions that will waste your valuable time.

The best advice I can give to anyone reading this - who feels they really wouldn't like to go through the processes described above is;

Don't start a home business online. If you are not passionate about Internet Marketing you won't last the distance.

If you are prepared to do the hard yards the rewards are as fantastic as you will allow yourself to believe.

Cheers,

Kitty.
