Google Playing Games With My Page Rank

I have been noticing that Google seems to be playing games with my page rank on this blog. I waited a long time to get a page rank then I finally got a PR2 and I was pretty happy with that although I had wished to start with a PR3.

However, my glee with my page ranked was dashed a few days later when I saw I was back to being unranked. I thought that was pretty strange. Then about a week or so later I was back to a PR2.But a week after that unranked again. What the hell is going on? I got my PR2 back about a week and a half ago and then back to unranked, which is what it is now.

If anyone is going through this same thing or have any answers as to why this is going on, will you please leave a comment here? Thanks!

Matched.co.uk Closes

I told you about Matched.co.uk when I wrote about Truly Passive Income. It was one of the three truly passive income opportunities I wrote about of which only one is left to take advantage of and that is Money4Banners.

Freebies4Webmasters announced several months ago that they would no longer accept new submissions. I do have one site in the Freebies4Webmasters system that I get paid for every month and I have two site in the Money4Banners system that I receive monthly payments for.

My goal is to get 100 sites in theMoney4Banners system , which will net $1000 a month passively. I didn’t have any websites in the Matched.co.uk, but I had hoped to get some in. With Freebies4Webmasters not accepting any more websites and now Matched.co.uk shutting down that will cut down on my planned passive income to make money online.

When Should You Monetize To Make Money Online

When starting a new blog a lot of people ask when should you monetize? Most of the experts say wait until you have a good amount of content and traffic coming in. They say you want people to get to know you before you start monetizing. Well, I disagree.

I think you should monetize as soon as you start blogging. I believe that by waiting until you have a lot of content and traffic you are missing out on money you could be making. By waiting you could be missing out on Google Adsense clicks or you may have some good affiliate products that people are interested in and would be willing to buy.

People are impulsive and will do things spontaneously. They see something they like or that interest them they click or buy. You can get traffic to your blog right away by pinging, social bookmarking and commenting on other blogs and in forums. I say why wait when you can make money online right away from your new blog.

Making Relationships To Make Money Online

As in life relationships online are important in order to make money online. Just like storeowners, restaurant owners and small business owners have to make relationships with their customers in order to keep them coming back, as Internet marketers we should also do the same thing.

I know that with my artwork the better the relationship I have with my buyers the more times they will return for more art. Plus add a good quality product you have a winning combination. When doing affiliate marketing we should also build relationships for repeat customers. Some of the ways we can build those relationships is by commenting and starting discussions in forums, commenting on blogs and chat rooms.

As with anything building good relationships can be very helpful and as an Internet marketer they can help you make money online.

Is Internet Marketing Recession Proof?

With the economy in such turmoil and everybody cutting back the question is can we still make money online? Is Internet marketing indeed recession proof? Well, as I mentioned yesterday I have sold some prints and I have been getting some art commissions. As a matter of fact three within the last three weeks, one of them from Canada and I think that’s the point.

Because Internet marketing is a worldwide activity people are still able to make money, if not from this country from others. From all the e-mail I get announcing product launches, I know people are making money on the Internet. So can you make money online Internet marketing even in a bad economy? I think you can.

Doing What You Love To Make Money Online

I have been very busy lately doing art commissions, which brings me to what this post is all about, doing what you love to make money online. I love doing art, but for several months I have put my art on the back burner in order to do niche marketing and affiliate marketing. I have been learning all about these things and have posted my learning progress on this blog.

What I have also realized is that I can use what I have learned in association with my art also. So I plan to create some art products and use what I have learned to promote those products. What really got my juices going is an e-mail I got from Russell Brunson, an Internet marketing guru, that a link to theses videos that show Russell being interviewed on news shows like ABC news, Fox news and NBC news.

In these interviews Russell talks about people that make money doing what they love and how he made his first money online from selling a video on how to make a potato gun. Since I have gone back to doing my art I have made more money in the last few weeks than I have in the months since I have started concentrating on affiliate and niche marketing. Now I’m not saying that I’m going to stop doing these things and I’m also not saying that I can’t make money doing them because I have made some.

What I am saying is a lot of the niche marketing and affiliate marketing I will be doing will be art related. If you are trying to make money online through Internet marketing below are some of Russell Brunson’s products that can help you along the way.

Free Tools To Help You Make Money Online

In order to make money online there are things you need to do and some tools you need to help you do those things. I’m talking about things like building websites, writing articles, spinning articles, getting affiliate and products and other things

On this blog I have shown you some free tools that you can use to do the things you need to do to make money. Today I just want to list some of those tools so you will have them in one place. These are the tools and websites I use.

Website Help
HyperVre - This free software helps you build keyword rich websites fast and easy.

Squidoo - This is where you can create one page websites that you can use as landing pages, affiliate review pages, product sales pages, etc.

Hub Pages - This is the same as Squidoo except that you can’t use affiliate links here.

Get Affiliate Products
ClickBank - One of the best affiliate programs around. All of the products here are downloadable digital products and membership sites.

7 Dollar Offers - This site also has downloadable digital products, but here you don’t have to sign-up to the site. All you have to is add your PayPal ID to the end of the product sales URL and when someone buys that product the payment goes directly into your account. Even though the name is 7 Dollar Offers, there are products on the site that are more than $7 and some less.

Keyword Research
Wordtracker - This is one of the best free keyword research tools around. It gives you a list of 100 longtail keywords from your main keyword, gives you how much Google competition for each keyword and the estimated daily Google search for each.

SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool - This does pretty much the same thing that Wordtracker does, but it also gives the daily search volumes from Google, Yahoo and MSN.

NicheBot Classic - This does the same as Wordtracker and SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool, but it also allows you to check the competition on each search engine.

Google Adsense Top Paying Keywords - This site has a list of high paying keywords and phrases.

Google Adsense Keywords & YPN Keywords Search Tool - This tool will give you a list of high value keywords and phrases that contain that keyword.

SpyFu - This tool will show you what PPC advertisers are paying per click for a keyword to Google. This can give you some idea what you will get per click if you use that keyword.

Article Help
GistWeb - What this site does is give you summaries from the top results of your keyword search. Just enter your keyword and GistWeb will return summaries from across the web.

8 Minute Article Writer - I haven’t used this one, but I have heard some good things about it.

WordFlood - This is an article spinner. Whenyou paste your article into the interface the words and phrases that are blue can be changed. When you place your mouse over the blue words a list of alternative words appear that you can change that word or phrase to.

ArticleApps - This is a website where you can spin your articles. Once you join for free you can enter your article do some editing and can have a number spins done of your article.

Article Submitter - The name says it all. This free article submitter lets you submit your articles to a number of article directories in one place.

Make Money Online With A Blog

I have talked about a few ways to make money online, but I just realized the one way and most obvious way I haven’t talked about is blogging. Blogging is a fantastic way of making money. The reason for this is because of its nature of adding content on a regular basis. Think about it with a website in most cases you may not add new content for months if ever. But with a blog you give yourself a chance to make money daily.

With a blog you have a chance to put in an affiliate link whenever you post. Other ways you can make money with a blog is contextual ads, affiliate links in your sidebar and actually selling ads space. Because of the nature of blogs with regular readers and new readers visiting daily there is always a chance for you to make money online with a blog.

It Takes Work To Make Money Online

A lot of people get discouraged from trying to make money online because of all the promises of fast cash and big money they get from the so called gurus. They hear how they can make $10,000 in a few days, they buy the product and it doesn’t happen. After a few times of this they come to the conclusion that you can’t make money online.

You see the reason the gurus can make $10, 000 in a few days is because they have already done the work needed. They did the work needed to build a massive list. They did the work needed to create and promote products and they did they work to get people like you and I to buy their products. Believe me getting to making $10,000 in a few days took longer to get to than a few days.

Making money online takes a lot of work. It’s not easy and it’s not fast, but it is fulfilling. It’s fulfilling to be in charge of your own life and not be under someone’s thumb. I have outlined some of the things to do to get you on your way to making money online in a couple of series. There are lots of ways to make money online but they all take some hard work. Trying to get rich quick only means you will make someone else rich and only means heart break for you.
