I have been having a little trouble coming up with articles to write for the new niche I’m working. I have written a couple of articles, but having trouble coming up with more. So I’m looking into some software to give me a little help. I have been doing research on article writing software and article spinners.
I recently learned that it might not be a good idea to put the same article as is on all the article directories it could cause you to get a Google slap down. Some say it’s okay to have duplicate content on article directories because Google looks at it as syndication, others say Google looks at it as duplicate content and will choose which article directory to index your article from.
I don’t know which one to believe so I plan to use an article spinner to make my articles look different from directory to directory. There are a couple of programs I’m thinking about using to write articles and spin my articles. I will tell you about them later this week.

I recently had four articles approved for publishing at Associated Content, three of which I was paid for. All four articles are eligible for their performance payment also. But the best thing about the articles I submitted is that they were articles I had already written for niches I was marketing.
I just took the articles for niches I was doing article marketing for, change them some, changed the title and submitted them. Since Associated Content doesn’t pay that much for articles especially if they’re not exclusive, I didn’t have much time spent on writing a fresh article.

Last week I got my second payment from Google Adsense. This time it took several months to reach the payout amount of $100. However, the first time it took about a year to reach the payout amount. My plan is to keep closing the gap between payments so that I’m getting a payment every month.
The best way to do that is to keep building websites and putting Google Adsense ads on them and targeting high paying keywords. Do some article marketing to get targeted traffic to the sites and you have a winning combination.

This is week I will be concentrating on writing articles for my new niche so I won’t be posting much this week. I’m trying something different with this niche than I’ve done with the other niches I have worked on that should help me make money online.
Besides using Blogger as my website, I’m using Squidoo Lenses as landing pages for a couple of affiliate products. I think Squidoo Lenses make good landing pages because they are just one page and unlike Hub Pages, you can have affiliate links on them.
You just setup your lens giving a little information about your affiliate product, add links to the product and let it take it from there. Since Google loves Squidoo also this can help get search engine traffic.
This is just an experiment and I’ll let you know how it turns out. You may want to try it yourself. It might help you to make money online.

The only way to make money online is with targeted traffic. It doesn’t matter what you’re selling or if you’re just trying to make money through Google Adsense, you need targeted traffic. Targeted traffic is more apt to buy what you are selling or click an ad to get more information.

In my opinion the best ways to get targeted traffic is one, make your website or blog search engine friendly, that means good SEO tactics. You want the search engines to not only find your site, but also place it high in the search results. This is important because that’s where your targeted traffic is going to find you. Another good way to get targeted traffic is by commenting on blogs that are in the same or similar niches that you are in. These blogs have traffic that is obviously interested in your niche and may want to see what you have on the subject and so will click your link from the comment.
Last but certainly by no means least, is submitting articles you have written or had written to article directories. People only read articles because they are very interested in the subject. Most people are not going to waste their time reading something they just have a passing interest in. Article directories allow you to leave a link in the author’s resource box and that’s where you get your targeted traffic.
Targeted traffic means ultra interested people looking for what you have, which means in one way or another you can make money online.
I have chosen my next niche and I am working on the website. But I’m doing something a little different this time. I am using Blogger as my website. I’m doing this for few reasons. One is as an experiment to see if it can be done, it’s another way to have a free website and make money online and it will give me a chance to make money from Money4Banners by putting their banners on another site.

Okay, lets look at how I transformed a Blogger blog into a website. First of all, I didn’t want to use the templates that Blogger has to create my website because there would be to many look alike sites out there. I wanted my site to be somewhat unique so I chose a template from FinalSense. You can use the Blogger templates if you wish. FinalSense has lots of free templates that people have created and they integrate easily with Blogger.
All you have to do is copy the HTML code you get for the template you choose, create a blog at Blogger, choose a template then go to layout then edit HTML, replace that code with the new code, save and you’re ready to go.
Now lets make the blog a website. First set the blog up to have just one post on the main page. Then get rid of all the elements that makes the blog look like a blog like the archive, date and time stamp, comments field and other blog stuff. If you know what kind of links you’re going to have you can setup you’re elements in the sidebar like your main links like maybe home page, about page contact page, etc.
Maybe you want to have articles on your site. Setup an articles list element and list the articles you have on your site. Setup all of your site links by doing posts. You want to make your homepage the last post you do because as you know the post you do is what people see when the come to your blog.
The one problem with this method is you can’t add any more pages to the site once you have done your homepage post because once you add another post that will become your home page. So it is very important to have everything thought out before you start you site and ad the home page.
