Okay, you have you’re affiliate product, you made your landing page and did you’re SEO on it to make it search engine friendly. Even though the SEO will get you some good targeted traffic it will take some time for your landing page to get indexed into the search engines. But, you need traffic right now and you can get it.

In order to make money online from your affiliate marketing you need traffic and highly targeted traffic at that. A couple of good ways to get highly targeted traffic immediately is by commenting on relative blogs and forums and living a link to your landing page. By making your comments compelling and interesting you are bound to get some clicks on your link. Also your comments shouldn’t be spammy they should add some value to the conversation.

Find some Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses that are related to your affiliate product and do the same as with the blogs and forums.

Social bookmarking your affiliate-landing page will get you some immediate traffic although not as targeted as the methods above, but you could get some of this traffic to convert to buyers. I use Social Poster and Socialmarker when bookmarking my blog posts and websites.

Some other ways to get immediate traffic to your landing page is to ping it I use Ping.In for my pinging. Doing videos and putting them up on sites like YouTube. By answering questions on Yahoo Answers related to your affiliate niche you could get some targeted traffic. Relative chat rooms could bring traffic to your landing page or affiliate page.

Although not immediate traffic, article marketing is faster then waiting for your site to be indexed be the search engines. When submitting your articles to article directories you will have to wait for your articles to be approved. However, article marketing is the best way to get highly targeted traffic in a fairly short amount of time.

There are other ways to get immediate traffic to your affiliate marketing landing page, but the ones I mentioned will get you targeted traffic that have a good chance of converting to buyers and make money online for you.

Make Money Online With Targeted Traffic

The only way to make money online is with targeted traffic. It doesn’t matter what you’re selling or if you’re just trying to make money through Google Adsense, you need targeted traffic. Targeted traffic is more apt to buy what you are selling or click an ad to get more information.

What is targeted traffic? Targeted traffic is traffic that is absolutely looking for whatever your niche is. Targeted traffic is traffic that has a need or a want for your product, service or information, that’s how you make money online. So, how do you get targeted traffic?

In my opinion the best ways to get targeted traffic is one, make your website or blog search engine friendly, that means good SEO tactics. You want the search engines to not only find your site, but also place it high in the search results. This is important because that’s where your targeted traffic is going to find you. Remember these people are absolutely looking for your niche.

Another good way to get targeted traffic is by commenting on blogs that are in the same or similar niches that you are in. These blogs have traffic that is obviously interested in your niche and may want to see what you have on the subject and so will click your link from the comment.

Last but certainly by no means least, is submitting articles you have written or had written to article directories. People only read articles because they are very interested in the subject. Most people are not going to waste their time reading something they just have a passing interest in. Article directories allow you to leave a link in the author’s resource box and that’s where you get your targeted traffic.

Targeted traffic means ultra interested people looking for what you have, which means in one way or another you can make money online.

Using myLot To Get Traffic And Make Money Online

This weekend I posted some discussions on myLot that related to the niche I’m working. MyLot is a discussion site where you get paid for starting and replying to discussions and that’s a couple of ways you can make money online there. However, that is not the real reason to use myLot. The money you make for posting and replying to discussions is very meager and really isn’t worth the time you spend doing these activities.

The real reason to use myLot is to get traffic to your real online money making sites. myLot allows you to edit your profile using HTML, so you can use your profile as a mini website and put links to your niche sites and add referral links. You can also put products and services there also. All you have to do is when you start a discussion or reply to one just figure out a reason to refer people to your profile.

So when joining myLot don’t think of it as a way to make money online by posting and replying to discussions because you will get discouraged real fast thinking like that. Think of it as a way to get traffic to your niche sites where you can make some real money online.

On another note approvals for the articles I posted on articles sites are coming so the next thing I’m going to do is do some social bookmarking on those articles. I will talk more on that tomorrow.
