Making Money Online Passively With Squidoo

Yesterday I talk about making money online passively and I mentioned Squidoo. Today I want to about how you can make passive money there.

First of all just having lenses on Squidoo (a page on Squidoo is called a Lens) that are getting some traffic makes you money. So the more lenses you have and the more traffic those lenses get the more money you make. So say you have ten lenses. Well as long as your lenses have traffic coming to them you will make money.

Another way of passively making money online with Squidoo is with affiliate products. If you do some lenses and add some affiliate product links them as long as people come and buy those products you will make money.

Squidoo also have eBay and Amazon modules that you can make money from. So say you have a lens about laptops and you add an Amazon module. When someone buys something from that module you make money. Same goes for the eBay module and as long as people are buying you are earning money no matter if you never do anything to that lens again.

Making Money Online With Online Properties

Yesterday I mentioned that I realized that the more online properties you have the more money you could make. Now, I have actually known this for a while, but I just started looking at it differently.

Before I looked at it like building Niche Sites or Blogs or building Affiliate Sites or Squidoo Lenses or Hub Pages and with that thought came the thought of all the work that had to be done to get each individual property indexed and get traffic to them. The thought of the work that needed to be for each of those individual properties became daunting and caused me to procrastinate, do other things and even be lazy some days.

But one day something magical happened. A simple thought came to me “In order to make money online all I have to do is build online properties.” All of a sudden the task didn’t seem that daunting. It was just as simple as building online properties. Don’t get me wrong I know that I still have to do all the things that was necessary with the other thought, but somehow simplifying it like this has made it easier for to except and it doesn’t seem as overwhelming. I’m just making online properties.

Now you might say that’s nuts that I still have to do all that other work and I would say to you you’re right, but somehow looking at it in this simple way works for me and I’m on my why to building those online properties.

Now let me ask you, want task is it that you think about that you just hate doing so much that it makes you put it off or just not do it at all? It could be article writing, niche research or starting a blog. Is that task not being done keeping you from making the money online that you should be making? Well I say try thinking about it in a different way. A simpler more pleasant way and see if that don’t make that task easier for you to do.

Okay, how is making money online and having online properties related. Well, first of all if you have a Google Adsense account you can put Adsense ads on your properties. The more properties you put those ads on the more money you can make from Google. You can sell ad space on your properties. You can do paid reviews on your blogs. You make money just for having Squidoo Lenses. You can make affiliate money from your properties. As an artist I have found that just by having some art properties I get commissions.

I have named just a few ways you can make money online by having online properties I know there are more. So go on out there and start building your properties. Leave me comment and tell me what you think.

One Week Marketing – An Affiliate Marketing Must Have

If you have been struggling with affiliate marketing let me tell you I feel your pain. There is a lot of information out there on the subject, but it’s just basic stuff. I am very, very pleased with this product. I thought I knew a lot about affiliate marketing, but One Week Marketing has open my eyes to a better way of approaching it. You have to give it a try and I know you will be glad you did.

Make Money Online With Squidoo

I decided that I am going to be doing more work on Squidoo and I recently got my first payment from them, which you can see on the left. Did you know you can make money there just for having Lenses? That’s right just by making Lenses you can make money.

I use Squidoo basically for affiliate marketing. I think it’s a very good way to promote affiliate products. Squidoo Lenses are like one page websites that you can put information on and led people to your affiliate product or your own product page.

Getting Traffic To Your Squidoo Lenses

Yesterday I talked about how to make money online with Squidoo. Even though Squidoo does share a portion of it’s profits with Lensmasters the more traffic that comes to your Squidoo Lenses the more money you can make.

Now, as I said yesterday you can also make money from eBay and Amazon modules and affiliate products, but all of this require getting traffic to your Squidoo Lenses. So today lets talk about getting traffic.

First of all you should optimize your Lenses to get traffic from search engines. Starting with your Lens title. Make sure you get some keywords in your title. Not just the main keyword, but some longtails as well. Using the example of acne I used yesterday, say your title is “How To Care For Acne”. Okay, you have your keyword acne in the title now lets add to that title. Here’s an example “How To Care For Acne – Good Skin Care – Get Rid Of Pimples”. See how you now have a couple of longtail keyword phrases that you can draw traffic from.

Okay, lets do our tags. Now, Google doesn’t really consider keyword tags, but on Squidoo, tags are a part of your content page, which Google does look at, so put as many related keywords in as you can. I think Squidoo allows about 20 so take advantage of it.

When you do your modules make sure to put your keyword or longtails in the title of each module and if you can take advantage of the sub-title also. In your text module be sure to put your keyword and longtails in the content. Also use poll modules and comment modules as a way to add your keywords. You also want to use the list module to list to other modules within your Lens, which gives your lens more authority.

Those are the internal things you can do on your Squidoo Lenses to get traffic from search engines. The external things you can do are the same things you would do the get traffic to your websites. Things like Social Bookmarking and Pinging your lenses, Article Marketing and Commenting on Blogs, forums and even other Squidoo Lenses are ways to get traffic from outside of lenses and backlinks as well.

So now you know how to make money online with Squidoo and how to get traffic to your Lenses. Go get yourself some Squidoo Lenses made and start making money.

How To Use Squidoo To Make Money Online

First of all I just recently found out that you can make money online from Squidoo just for having Squidoo Lenses. That’s right! Squidoo shares a portion of the profit they make with their Lensmasters. The more Lenses you have the more money you will get. The amount of money you make also depends on the LensRank of your Lenses.

Some other ways you can make money from Squidoo Lenses is with eBay and Amazon modules. By placing these modules on your lenses and setting them up to show products relative to the niche of your Lens you get a portion of the made when someone clicks a product and buys it.

Since Squidoo allows you to have affiliate links on your lenses, you can make money by adding affiliate products from ClickBank or 7 Dollar Offers, which I talked about yesterday.

Now, even though you may be setting up your Squidoo Lenses to make money online, you don’t want them to look like that. You also don’t what your Lenses to be spammy. You want Lenses to give helpful information and use your affiliate products as items for more information or ways to accomplish results. Don’t just say here is something to help with your acne. Give some statistics and causes of acne and then give some ways to get rid of it using your affiliate products as one or more of the ways.

Make Money Online Affiliate Marketing PT 2: The Landing Page

Once you have chosen an affiliate product to market you want to make a landing page that gives a little information about product and leads to the product sells page. Like I said I used Squidoo as my landing page. Squidoo Lenses make good landing pages because they are like one page websites. Plus the way they are setup you can use modules to add bits on information and interest points. Squidoo is also free to use.

You can make your own one page website as you landing by using your own domain or using a free web host. The main thing is to give your potential customers just enough information to leave them wanting for more then give them the link to the product sells page and let that sell them on the product for you. Remember, it is not your job as the to sell the product. That’s not what affiliate marketing is about. It’s your job to get people to the sells page and let it sell them.

Using Squidoo Lenses As Landing Pages To Make Money Online

This is week I will be concentrating on writing articles for my new niche so I won’t be posting much this week. I’m trying something different with this niche than I’ve done with the other niches I have worked on that should help me make money online.

Besides using Blogger as my website, I’m using Squidoo Lenses as landing pages for a couple of affiliate products. I think Squidoo Lenses make good landing pages because they are just one page and unlike Hub Pages, you can have affiliate links on them.

You just setup your lens giving a little information about your affiliate product, add links to the product and let it take it from there. Since Google loves Squidoo also this can help get search engine traffic.

This is just an experiment and I’ll let you know how it turns out. You may want to try it yourself. It might help you to make money online.

Make Money Online Niche Marketing PT 6: Hub Pages And Squidoo

The next step in my promotion of my new niche mini-site is to make some Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses. Both of these sites can not only get you some targeted traffic to your website, but can also help you make money online. With both sites you have the opportunity to make money from eBay and Amazon with widgets placed on the sites and with Hub Pages you can half of the Google Adsense revenue made from your pages.

I will put a link to my niche mini-site on my Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses, which will boost the site up the search engines. Once the Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses are done I will also social bookmark them, which will get more traffic to them and hopefully more traffic to my niche mini-site.

Another way I plan to use Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses in the future to make money online is as the main source for a niche instead of building a website. Google already loves Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses so I will take advantage of that.

Use Squidoo And Hub Pages To Make Money Online With your Niche

I’m sure that by now most everybody have heard of Squidoo and Hub Pages. For those who have not, Squidoo and Hub Pages are websites where you can make your own web page about any subject you want. These are not only good for backlinks and targeted traffic to your niche website, but you also can make money from ads and affiliate products on those pages.

I did some bookmarking of my articles yesterday and will do more later. The next step in working the niche I’m working on is to make some Squidoo and Hub Pages related to that niche and add links to the website. Google loves Squidoo and Hub Pages so this should also give my website a boost on their search engine.

I hope to wrap up the work on this niche this week and start looking at what all this work has done for this niche. Stay with me to see the results of this niche marketing.
