A lot of us when we first think about how to make money online think about making a lot of money real fast. Well, for the most part making money online isn’t like that and a lot of people get discouraged when it doesn’t happen that way. However, we can all do things that make a little money online.
You can start a blog or website and make money from Adsense or other contextual ads, you can join PTCs, PTRs and survey sites to make a little money while you learn and find other ways to make bigger money. There are a lot of ways to make money online. Just because you don’t make a lot of money starting out don’t let that stop you from pushing on.
I’m not making a whole lot of money right now, but I can definitely see a light at the end of the tunnel and I’m headed for it. So enjoy your small accomplishments the big ones are ahead.

Lately I have been finding a lot of distractions. I’m finding there are a lot of ways to make money online and I want to try them all. While promoting one thing I will run across some other opportunity that has high potential to make money and I start researching that, taking me away from what I was original thing I was doing.
By doing that I get of track and it slows down my progress on the original project. Take for example my Monday post about The Ultimate SuperTip, the free e-book you can make money from by giving it away. I found that when I was promoting the affiliate product that I was talking about in my “Make Money Online Affiliate Marketing” series.
I thought the e-book had such a high potential for making money, I started marketing it and even though I have made money from it, it took me from my original goal, which was marketing the other affiliate product to get a second sell for it. Because of distractions and not promoting the other affiliate product it may have slowed my chance of getting that second sell.
By jumping from one opportunity to another it’s hard to give any of them the attention they need thus slowing down your opportunity of having a stable money making business in place and then moving on to the next. I’m not saying let those other money-making opportunities go. I’m saying stay on track with your original plan until it bears fruit and then move on.

I wanted to do a quick post on fighting the boredom that comes along with affiliate marketing and niche marketing. For me the boredom comes with the promoting part. Writing articles, commenting on blogs and posting in forums is boring as hell to me, but these things are necessary in order to make money online no matter what you’re doing.
If you keep working on something that bores you it can be discouraging and make you want to quit. I have found that doing these boring things in small portions is very affective in fighting boredom. I am a creative person so building websites is more pleasing for me than marketing them. So, what I have found is that I can work on the promoting until I get bored, then I can work on creating a website and get energized and I’m still working on something to make money online. I can then work on promoting again later.
If you’re anything like me you want to do all of one thing until it’s done and have it out of the way as quickly as possible. But, forcing yourself to keep doing a boring task can make you want to give up. Take a break and do something that you like doing that’s still in line with making money.
One more thing I want to mention is doing something that doesn’t work as well as you thought or at all can also be discouraging and make you give up. However, just keep trying. Try something, different. Look at what others are doing that are making it and copy them. After all they are really only people like you. Just keep in mind that you can make money online as long as you keep at it

Well, we have chosen our affiliate product, created a landing page and have started working on getting traffic to that landing page. Now comes the time to see if our affiliate marketing pays off. Now comes the time to see if we will make a sell. Although you are waiting for your first sell (In my case the second), you don’t what to stop your marketing efforts. You have to keep marketing in order to make money online.
Even if you don’t make a sell on this affiliate campaign don’t give up just try another one. The more you try the more you are going to learn and pretty soon you will be an expert and making money all over the place.

A couple of good ways to get highly targeted traffic immediately is by commenting on relative blogs and forums and living a link to your landing page. By making your comments compelling and interesting you are bound to get some clicks on your link. Also your comments shouldn’t be spammy they should add some value to the conversation.
Find some Hub Pages and Squidoo Lenses that are related to your affiliate product and do the same as with the blogs and forums.
Social bookmarking your affiliate-landing page will get you some immediate traffic although not as targeted as the methods above, but you could get some of this traffic to convert to buyers. I use Social Poster and Socialmarker when bookmarking my blog posts and websites.

When submitting your articles to article directories you will have to wait for your articles to be approved.
